Amazing food and experience. Sri Lankan is truly unique and wonderful. The lump rice, kottu roti, and falooda were spectacular. Excellent service as well.
Definitely a different take on Indian food. Sri Lankan cuisine has some unique dishes not found in typical Mughlai (North Indian) restaurants. Wonderful and flavorful strews and platters.
Great place to have Sri Lankan food in Connecticut. Very tasty food; extremely friendly and attentive staff. I've seen some excellent raves about their black pork curry, but unfortunately the day I tried, it was not that great; may be a one off thing. Also, I wouldn't recommend their Watalappam as well; there was a weird synthetic taste in that. Other thank that, everything else was excellent.
The Cinnamon Grill was amazing !!!! A must try. I started off with the zen vegetable soup and got the kottu roti with vegetables. Very flavorful and good portion sizes. The staff was so friendly and when he introduced himself he mentioned that he can go over in detail further about the menu. The restauraunt was very clean and welcoming. Many vegetarian options as well!!!
Just had a lovely birthday lunch at the Cinnamon Grill in New London. Ravi greeted us and explained what the items were on the menu as we had never had food from Sri Lanka. We had two appetizers… Gobi Honey onion fried cauliflower… so good and shrimp, pork rolls which were tasty too. We shared a Coconut Roti with pork curry. Portion was small but very delicious. I mentioned it was my Birthday, Ravi brought a delicious cake with a candle….. not a drop left on the plate…so delicious yet very light. The decor is so inviting and have many more menu items to explore . Highly recommend
To the Owners and Staff: please please please stay in business!! This restaurant is so damn good. It’s worth every penny and the drive! The owner is super nice and the staff are superb! Even taking food out is excellent. The food is of great quality and so delicious! I love the Chicken 65, Sizzling Chicken platter and Biscuit Pudding, awesome options for someone new to this style of food that enjoys spice and a nice desert option. Coming here was the first time I ever had Butter Chicken and it exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love coming here with my husband, thank you for giving New London a great option for food :)
The service here was AMAZING! After knowing it was our first time they explained the menu and their food in general. On top of that the food was delicious, I wanted to keep eating but I was too full from the generous portion. Overall awesome place!

We had no idea authentic and delicious Sri Lanken food existed in the New London area. The Cinnamon Grill team are wonderful. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.
10/10 food and service and atmosphere :) my favorite restaurant in New London. The server started to know my order after visiting just a few times. He will explain anything and everything on the menu for you if you'd like. Amazing.
